Why Do People Commit Suicide - 1782 Words

Introduction: Why do people commit suicide? I believe people that commit suicide feel hopeless. They suffer and hurt so bad, they just want the pain to end. They don’t try getting help because they just don’t see any end to it. That person is convinced that the pain will never go away. The people who think about suicide and come to this feeling of sorrow and pain are the people think killing themselves would benefit others. In other words having depression. This study is significant because people are wasting their lives thinking there is no answer or solution to their pain when really there is. Also, I want to know why people kill themselves, what reasons do they have to take your own life away. Finding out the causes would show me if†¦show more content†¦Most people who commit suicide do it because they want their pain to end and their suffering to stop. They are not thinking of dying and they are not thinking of its effect on their families and loved ones because they ar e numb to the outside world and all they see is their loneliness and their despair. One of the most common causes that lead to Depression to start with is mental Illness. Anxiety is another study relating to suicide. By having any kind of anxiety can make it hard to maintain a normal life. With anxiety, you feel lonely and afraid which leads to suicide. Even though there are many different forms of anxiety they all lead to the same thing, fear. With Bipolar, you have no control over your moods and how you feel. One of these moods can be depression, having no control can cause you to feel not worth living life. Any traumatic event can make any person feel helpless, shame or guilt. Being a victim of abuse such as physical or sexual will make you likely to have traumatic stress disorder. The disorder can be distinguished with flashbacks or memories from the traumatic event. Having this illness can make you feel intense, fearful or even anxiety. Feeling helpless and traumatized makes you think about suicide. Many people are bullied growing up through school. It is an unavoidable cycle. However, it can have a bigger effect on some kids than people may think. A lot of the people being bullied may feel worthless and depressed
